Living in Studio Kuchar
—Client: The San Francisco Art Institute
An exhibition held at The San Francisco Art Institute to celebrate the inimitable genius of George Kuchar, an independent film legend and long-time faculty member who passed in September 2011.
The gallery was transformed into an immersive experience for audiences: from installations reproducing Kuchar’s home studio, a self-serve VHS tape viewing area, and a space for visitors to use costumes to make their own Kuchar-esque films.
